Lluís Badia and Chancho

Lluís Badia i Chancho is an Advisory Member of CAP Capital and has a solid track record in infrastructure management and public administration, with a special focus on ports and logistics.

He was President of the Tarragona Port Authority for approximately eight years (1996–2004), during which time he promoted the modernization of the port, the development of new logistics infrastructure, and port-city integration projects, consolidating the Port of Tarragona as one of the strategic economic drivers of the Mediterranean.

During his tenure , he also strengthened the institution's international profile by participating in Mediterranean cooperation platforms and strengthening connections with global operators and networks.

His experience is complemented by an active career in Catalan and Spanish public life, including parliamentary responsibilities and a deep understanding of the regulatory and administrative environment.

At CAP Capital, it provides strategic insight into infrastructure and logistics, as well as a consolidated institutional network in Catalonia and Europe, key elements for the development of industrial projects and operations that require access, dialogue, and regulatory credibility.
